Approximately 500 courses are offered in English per year within various departments. Exchange students are allowed to take courses from different departments upon availability. The most up-to-date course list is available a month prior to the beginning of the semester. Until then, students should refer to the previous year’s course list.

2. Click “Course Catalog” on the top menu bar.

3. Choose the following information and click on the “Search” button to view the list of English courses.
- College/School: ERICA College

Course Registration

Before coming to Korea, exchange/visiting students must register for courses online. Course registration dates will be different based upon one’s major and student year. Also, Hanyang's course registration system works on a "First Come, First Served" basis. A detailed schedule and instructions will be sent by email in mid-late July. Registration for courses in different departments or majors is also possible but not guaranteed, as acceptance may depend upon professor approval, and some will not accept students who are deemed to be lacking the proper academic background to attend the course.

Please note that all exchange/visiting students (regardless of level of study at one’s home university) be enrolled at the ERICA Campus as undergraduate student only. This applies to graduate-level students as the Office of the Graduate School is located on the Seoul Campus. Graduate students will have no problem in registering and taking graduate courses at ERICA. You will be informed regarding this later.

Transcript

Transcripts are available approximately 2-3 weeks after the last day of the semester. Two (2) copies of the transcripts and Korean Course Transcript (if you took the course) will be sent to the student’s home university upon completion of the program. The transcripts for students who study at Hanyang for two (2) semesters will be sent to the home university only after the end of the 2nd semester.
Extra fees will be charged if students wish to receive additional transcripts of the completed program.
